Izzo- On Tuesday Tom Izzo finally made his decision on being the next coach the the Cleveland Cavaliers. Izzo turned down the offer. He wants to stay more focused on building the next generation of superstars and remain the coach of Michigan State University. Izzo said one of the big reasons for tuning down the offer was that he was not able to speak with Lebron James. Izzo says that coaching Lebron James was very tempting and he wants him to stay at home with the Cavaliers just as Izzo will do. Stay home and coach his Spatans. As for the Cavaliers, this looks to be another setback on the future for Lebron. The Cavs now look to find a coach a.s.a.p so assure their future with James.

Nba Finals- You might as well call Tuesday Judgement day for the L.A Lakers as they face elimination against the Boston Celtics in game 6 of the Finals. If the Celticxs win the title Tuesday night it will be their 18th Nba title! Kobe looks to keep it at 17 as they try to force a game 7. The game starts at 9:00 on Abc.

- In other Nba news, The Atlanta Hawks name their new Head coach as Larry Drew. Drew has been working for Atlanta as a long time assistant to the team. Dwyane Wade made a statement Monday saying, instead of looking for a franchise that fits him come free agency month, he will look for a player to join him in Miami. Also The question of Izzo coaching the cavs is still up in the air.

College Football- The College football expansion drama has ended for now. Just as the Big 12 conference seemed to be falling apart Texas, Oklahoma, and others agree to stay with the conference and leave it at 10. This decision was led by Texas making its decision Monday after being offered 20 million a year to stay. They would also be able to start their own television network which would also bring in 5 million a year. All of the teams ended up agreeing to stay knowing that they might lose their rivals changing to a different conference. So as for now, the Big 12 is at ten teams and the Big 10 remains at 12.

Nfl- Titans quarterback Vince young was cited by poilice for sexual assault outside a strip club Monday. This is the second incident involving abuse and a night club this off season. Young looks to avoid suspension.

NBA-The Boston Celtics have pushed the Lakers the the brink of losing the championship. The Celtics won Sunday night in Boston 92-86. A big reason why the Celtics won was Paul Pierce with 27 points. Tempers flared when Ron Artest fouled Kevin Garnett hard sending him to the ground, Rondo then came over and shoved Artest which earned then Technical fouls. Game 6 will be held in L.A Tuesday night.

College Football- This has been without a doubt one of the biggest weeks in Ncaa football history when you consider off season decisions. Nebraska, Colorado and Boise state have already switched conferences, Nebraska to the Big 10, Colorado to the Pac 10, and Boise state to the Mountain West. Many people may be questioning why Boise state would go to the Mountain west after Boise repeatedly finds themselves in late season drama regarding the strength of their schedule. The Mountain west is by far done. The Mountain west is hoping to land Big 12 schools Missouri, Kansas, and Kansas state by next week. Adding these schools would without a doubt step up the competition in a somewhat questionable conference. Other Big 12 schools including Oklahoma, Texas and Texas A&M look into changing conferences in the upcoming days. Stay posted to theROOTofsports for the latest news on the Big 12 conference.

acdonald exchanged quick and accurate blows in all 3 rounds. After the second round Macdonald seemed to have control after causing most damage. Before the 3rd round began you could hear the corner of Condit screaming, " you have to go and take this fight! you have to finish this!". Well thats exactly what Condit did. Condit finished the fight with a technical knockout, 10 seconds before the ending bell. Also on Saturday Evan Dunham remained unbeaten against Tyson Griffin, Ben Rothwell won a decision over Gilbert Yvel and Mirko Cro Cop surprised the Ufc nation by submitting Patrick Barry in the 3rd round.
